Inspired by Virgil Abloh's Free Game, I wanted to create a space of resources for anyone looking to build a fashion label like my label Seevan.
From basic fashion terminology to the history of brands to a list of suppliers and even information on copyrighting and trademarks: this website has you covered.

- A workshop or studio where high-end fashion garments are made.
- Bespoke
- Custom-made clothing created for a specific client.
- Capsule Collection
- A condensed version of a designer's vision, usually containing essential pieces that work well together.
- Draping
- The art of positioning and pinning fabric on a dress form to create a design.
- E-commerce
- Online retail platform for selling fashion products.
- Fast Fashion
- Inexpensive clothing produced rapidly in response to latest trends.
- Haute Couture
- High-end fashion created exclusively by hand with extreme attention to detail.
- Lookbook
- A collection of photographs showcasing a fashion collection.
- Made-to-Measure
- Clothing that is sewn from a standard pattern but altered to fit the customer.
- Prêt-à-Porter
- Ready-to-wear clothing produced in standard sizes.
- Retail Markup
- The difference between the wholesale and retail price of a garment.
- Seasonal Collection
- A range of clothing designed for a specific season (Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter).
- Tech Pack
- Technical document containing all details needed to construct a garment.

- A test garment made in cheaper fabric to perfect the design.
